Women's Retreat The Women's Retreat, sponsored by Serendipity, is held at La Foret each September. It is an opportunity for women to get away from their responsibilities, to relax and have fun, and to perhaps gain some perspective. Individuals may choose to participate in some or all of the planned activities. The program, which begins Friday evening and ends early Sunday morning, varies each year depending on the theme chosen by the planners. There may be spiritual or personal growth programs, light physical fitness or yoga classes, arts or crafts sessions, walking the labyrinth, and time for unstructured personal reflection. There is always good conversation and laughter. In addition to First Plymouth members, women who do not attend First Plymouth are welcome--and indeed come each year--to share in this special weekend.
