Sunday School Program The Early Childhood class, age three through kindergarten, meets in Room B-26 in the Learning Center wing from 10:00 to the end of the Worship service. They will learn from the Rock Solid curriculum, one that our teachers and children really enjoy! The elementary children, grades first through fifth, will meet in the CE Center where they will experience Seasons of the Spirit, a lectionary curriculum. Following their Sunday School class, the children can stay for an Arts and Craft class, taught by Caitlin Boykin, our Nursery Manager.
Nursery Care is available all morning on Sundays in Room B09. Back to top
Special Children's Events First Communion for First Graders - Each year first graders are invited to a special weekly study of communion in January during the C.E. hour. At the conclusion of the eight weeks, they celebrate communion with the congregation during a Sunday worship service. Moving Forward in Faith For Fifth Graders - To celebrate their transition from children's to youth activities, fifth graders participate in special events throughout the year. They help staff the Can Do cart on the third Sunday of each month, which collects food, toiletries, and other necessities for distribution through Metro CareRing. They will staff the Heifer International table at the Alternative Gift Market in November, and be invited to a special spring youth event.Back to top
Bible Bytes Computer Lab The Bible Bytes Computer Lab in Room 215 is a vital component in First Plymouth's Childrens' Ministries program. Outfitted with special Bible study software, the lab uses its multimedia capabilities to communicate with our children in the languages they speak best.

I am learning sign language and plan to integrate simple signs in the nursery and while teaching the Arts and Crafts class."
