Memorial Services           Memorial Garden           Memorial Gifts

Memorial Services
At the difficult time of the loss of a loved one, First Plymouth can assist in memorial service planning. Our Sanctuary (capacity 500) and Chapel (capacity 90) are available for services. For additional information regarding the services First Plymouth provides or to speak with one of our ministers about a memorial service, please e-mail the church office or call 303-762-0616.

Memorial Garden
First Plymouth maintains a Memorial Garden in the courtyard for interment of ashes and display of memorial plaques. The garden features two sculptures of children by Ellen Watkins Worth, donated by her husband, and a replica of the stained glass UCC symbol designed for First Plymouth by George Bethune. Persons whose cremains are to be buried in the garden must be members or contributing friends of First Plymouth or be recommended by a member or contributing friend. The price of a plot for one burial is $1,000 and for two burials in the same plot $1,500. The price is all-inclusive and covers the cost of the interment and the inscription. No one will be denied burial because of lack of funds.  E-mail the church office or call 303-762-0616 for more information.

Memorial Gifts
The Memorial Gifts Program offers the opportunity for members and friends to honor loved ones by giving gifts, large or small, to the church. Monetary gifts and, with committee approval, other gifts are welcome. Ministers and the Memorials Committee can assist in planning memorial gifts. Memorial gifts, given for  specific or undesignated purposes, contribute to the life of the church, and families and friends have found this a satisfying means of remembering deceased loved ones and honoring the living.
