Green Things Project
First Plymouth's Green Things Project encourages individuals, groups, and families to find ways in their daily lives to eliminate waste, lower the carbon footprint, and find solutions to the climate crisis. Green Things are projects, big and small, that help us fulfill the congregation's commitment to be a Whole Earth Church. Examples of Green Things:
- Start a recycling program at church, home, work, or school
- Make and sell canvas bags featuring the First Plymouth Logo
- Lead a forum on composting
- Learn how to get solar panels on your home, or at church
- Help with the Alternative Gift Market
- Lead a youth trip to a recycling plant
- Organize a workshop on lowering your carbon footprint
At home, church, or in your community, Green Things are designed to help us all live more green! As important as doing your green thing, is sharing it, so what is your green thing?
