Spring Book Study: Rev. Dr. Eric Smith will host a study of Brian McLaren’s new book “The Great Spiritual Migration: How the World’s Largest Religion is Seeking a Better Way to Be Christian!” This book chronicles the changes in Christianity over the past several decades, and tries to account for what all the changes mean. The Book Study will be held in three Wednesday sessions on April 26, May 3, and May 10 at 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. in the Commons Room.

Racial Justice Film Series: First Universalist Church and First Plymouth Church are pleased to announce the screening of our first locally made documentary “Marvin Booker Was Murdered.” This film documents the killing of Marvin Booker, “a homeless street minister” by Denver Sheriffs in the Denver jail. More importantly, the film introduces us to who Marvin Booker was as a human being through testimony of his family and people whose lives he touched. We are very fortunate to have the director Wade Gardner introduce the film. He and the family’s attorneys will join us in discussion following the screening.  Please join us May 8 at 7:00P in Room 212 here at First Plymouth Congregational Church.
